DESCRIPTION:<p>On<strong> </strong><strong>February 29 at 5:30pm </strong>we will be showing the documentary "In the Family" in <strong>Annenberg</strong> <strong>13-01 </strong>(dinner provided!!).  <br /> <br /> The film follows 31 year old Joanna Rudnik as she deals with her results from predictive genetic testing.  Watch the trailer: <a href="http://youtu.be/12kF9NDOBgU" target="_blank">http://youtu.be/12kF9NDOBgU</a> <br /> <br /> We are hoping this event will raise awareness of genetic counseling as a profession, will educate about BRCA testing, and will inform attendees about the social and psychological issues that such testing can bring about.  There will be genetic counselors, genetics residents, and genetic counseling students present for discussion after the film.  <br /> <br /> It is a really great film, but in case that's not enough - remember there will be <strong>free dinner</strong> provided as well.  <br /> <br /> Again, <br /> <br /> <strong>February 29, 2012 <br /> 5:30pm -  7:00 pm <br /> Screening of "In the Family" <br /> Free dinner! <br /> </strong><br /> We look forward to seeing you there!   <br /> <br /> Emma Bedoukian</p>
