About our speaker:

Dr. Bobby Bhatia is the Field Applications Scientist for EMD-Millipore in the NY/Connecticut territory. Prior to joining the company, he received his BS degree in Biochemistry at Texas A&M University in 2000. He later earned his Ph.D. in Cancer Biology at UT-MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2005. He then joined Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer in 2006 as a post-doc studying cell signaling pathways and cell metabolism in brain tumors. To date, he has authored 19 peer-reviewed publications, 12 of which are first-authorships. Since 2011, Dr. Bhatia has worked with scientists in academia, in hospitals, and in pharmaceutical industry to enhance their research while using EMD-Millipore bio-products.
