Hi Everyone!
We hope you all braved Nemo well! We wanted to remind you that we will be discussing "Finance and the Good Society," during our next meeting on February 19th at 5 pm in the "collaboration room" in Levy Library.
The author of the book, Robert Shiller, is a professor at Yale University and was selected by Reuters as a 2012 contender for the Nobel Prize in Economics. As described by the New York Times, "[Schiller] celebrates finance’s “genuine beauty” and exhorts idealistic young students to pursue careers in derivatives, insurance and related fields."
Also, the book is a 200 page read and is available on kindle (http://www.amazon.com/Finance-Good-Society-ebook/dp/B007BOBSVS/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1360599457&sr=8-2&keywords=finance+and+the+good+society).
Thanks,
BBC
